Being Loud or Being Silent

I wanted to write about this from a long time. And infact this is kinda topic which I would like to write about the most. There can be varied opinions on this subject from various individuals.
Actually this type of behaviour is peculiar with the indviduals who have lot of thoughts hidden under among themselves. Some of the people just do the work and it automatically proves what they were planning to do and what they have done.

Some people try to project themselves a lot that they are capable candidates of doing the work and as a means of a adding a style to their aura. This is where debate arises whether this kind of individual is loud in projecting himself is the best choice in the market , or the one who is not loud but does the designated work in actually much effective fashion and is the soul candidate for a kind of work .

But I do feel that projection of the individuality do make a lot of sense in today's world. Since no one has the patience to come to a certain individual and analyze his activities without any prior projection from his end.

The challenge in this activity of projecting one self by being loud is that if you are making your stand, you should be really worth of what you are projecting other wise it is just a mere case of the loud chatter box having no head and tail about his whereabouts.

It really makes a lot of sense in some areas being silent and prove yourself after wards that the silence has got proven correct and being loud at the nick of the moment where it is indeed required. One should know to sell himself in today's world by maintaining the balance between the two.

The US !!!

The Dollar Land !! The money making mommy... What to say about it. A dream place to work for any software proffessional in India. An onsite returned software employee is just like any marathon winner or a king who has won a war. One can easily make out an onsite returned employee here in India.

Working at offshore and thinking about onsite was a facinating imagination which I had. But when I reached there I got to know what Onsite is all about. Actually there nothing of that sort as compared to the hype created at offshore about Onsite. Onsite or working at the customers site is just a change of work culture, work environment which changes ones perception about the real IT Job. Onsite is a place where an aspiring IT person gets which he craves for at offshore. You get to see things getting done at real time. You are exposed to the most experienced clients working on the upbeat techonologies and are asked to share thoughts with them. You actually know how to be more productive in less time. You know the real importance of deadlines, estimates, and effective communication at Onsite. These are the key and important things which are essential for any IT job. And you get them at onsite. These are the advantages of being at onsite.

But in US you wont find the business on the streets, crowded market places, high audible sounds of traffic, a nice "Tea" at the tapri. Some of these things kind of bring the monotonicity. Everything is quite mechanical. You go office ->drive car->work-> come back home-> cook-> laptop->sleep->again go office->drive car->work->come back home->cook->laptop->sleep.......... . No where to go, no relatives, no usual friends, no going to movies with girl friend. No fun as in India. Just one would be a plain Software Professional.
Well things might be different if some one is permanently settled altogether.

In all US is a good place to visit, explore new junctions, innovate and communicate. Its a good place to get financially secured, and most importantly a good place to know how to value your life. In US people enjoy there life like anything. They are not used to the troublesome and complicated life. They actually know how they can get to enjoy each and every moment of their life.

Shauk Hai Song !

One of my favourite songs.

Raat ka shauk hai
Raat ki saundhi si
Khamoshi ka Shauk hai
Subah ki roshni bezubaan subhon ki aur gungunaati
Roshni ka shauk hai, oh shauk hai !

San sani anwlon ka
Ke ishq ke banwlon ka
San sani anwle
Ke ishq ke banwle
Barf se khelte badalon ka
Shauk hai

Kaash ye zindagi Khel hi khel mein kho gayi hoti
Raat ka shauk hai
Neend ki goliyon ka
Khwab ke loriyon ka
Bezubaan aus ki boliyon ka;
Kaash ye zindagi binkahe binsune so gayi hoti

New Year, New Thoughts

2008 has gone and new year 2009 has begun. Last year was exiting and was a quite roller-coaster ride to me. I had tremendous learning experience for me in all aspects.

Thought of starting a new year with new blog and putting on some new ideas and thoughts as it progresses. Me having good time in experiencing the cold of Chicago's weather with the snow flurries and snow flakes dropping in all around you. The snowy land made over the top of lesh green grass resembles just like a fine grained sugar spread all over the place. Trouble of opening the car doors and cleaning of wind shields for 4 inches thick snow before going to office is almost common for everyone now.

The people here are now getting cautious in spending money because of there affected economical break down and are have now started saving smartly. They have great hopes with the new elected president Obama whose faviourite quote is "Its time for a change". Great !! if it works for them and really if any change can be brought up.

People from my hometown are proud as thir guy is working outside there country and speaking with the outside people in there language and also telling them "how to work" in there language itself. Didn't expected myself doing all this, all of a sudden ,all in this very short time. Some words of appreciation for me : )

Putting up some great photos of Chicago City. Adding up some more images to my memory.
